Ukhu Pacha is the inner world of Andean cosmovision: the realm beneath the earth, of seeds, water, ancestors and renewal, guarded by the serpent. A slim coiled serpent with a star and rays is embroidered in terracotta thread on the left chest. Quiet on the outside, a lot of meaning underneath.
